CARL GOLDFIELD

Carl Goldfield is one of the principals of Meneo & Goldfield, LLC. His practice is concentrated on representing clients in the areas of
- will contests
- estate and gift tax planning
- estate planning and administration
- formation of new business entities including corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies
- creation of business operating agreements as corporate shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and limited liability operating agreements
- drafting business partner buy-sell agreements
- business tax planning including compensation and qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
- real estate transactions and tax planning
- disputes involving pension and profit-sharing plans
Carl is admitted to the Connecticut, New York and District of Columbia bars. He is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and a member of its Elder Law Section.
He has been an adjunct professor in taxation at Southern Connecticut State University and at the University of New Haven.
Carl received his BA from Northwestern University in 1972, his J.D. from the State University of New York in 1975 and his L.L.M. in taxation from Georgetown University in 1981.
Carl is the author of Tax Management Portfolio No. 371 entitled Qualified Plans, Deductions, Contributions and Funding published by the Bureau of National Affairs.
