MeneoGoldfield, LLC, offers estate administration and legal counseling services to ensure that after a family member's death, the person's estate passes expeditiously and economically to the heirs. We are sensitive to the enormous emotional toll death takes on the family. It can often be a difficult and daunting task for the family to face what appear to be cold and uncaring legal and tax requirements for settling the person's affairs. If there is a Last Will and Testament then we will guide you through all of the steps of probate administration. If there was a revocable trust then we will guide your through its administration. And if there was no will or trust then we will counsel you through the administration of an intestate (no will) estate. Our services include the following as required by the particular estate:
- having the Last Will and Testament admitted to probate
- assisting the Executor, or Administrator in the case of an intestate estate, to be qualified and appointed
- notifying the beneficiaries
- filing the inventory of the deceased's property with the probate court
- filing all required Federal and state death tax and estate income tax returns
- compiling and filing the final accounting
- setting up and administering trusts that may have been established by the deceased to continue beyond his or her death
